The new generation transparent-ceramic braces are aimed mainly at adults and offer another solution to people who do not want to wear conventional metal brackets. In their design and operation, they do not differ from conventional ones.
The difference is in their color. They are made of ceramic material which makes the appliance much more discreet, while thanks to their material the ceramic brackets do not absorb pigments and thus their aesthetic effect remains the same throughout the treatment. They are also very effective but for some orthodontic problems of larger extent the classic braces may be considered more suitable. In any case, we will suggest the best solution depending on the type of problem.
As with any orthodontic appliance, we need excellent oral hygiene to prevent tooth decay and periodontal problems that would jeopardize treatment.
