Microimplants

Microimplants are an innovative solution that enables us to offer a successful and comfortable orthodontic treatment even in cases that used to have a very high degree of difficulty and would require surgery and/or an extra-oral appliance. These are actually very small titanium alloy implants that are temporarily placed in the bone to form a fixed anchorage point for the teeth to move. Thus, there is no need to use a natural tooth for this purpose, nor any other appliances.

The placement of microimplants is done in a minimally invasive way and is painless, since there are no nerve endings in the areas where they are placed. Of course, they do not need to be integrated into the bone (osseointegration) as with conventional dental implants, because they remain in the mouth for as long as necessary during treatment. Depending on the needs of each patient, they can be placed in different parts of the mouth and in different phases of treatment.
