Clear aligners

Clear aligners are a modern method of orthodontic treatment for children and adults that does not require braces and combines efficiency with high aesthetics. Instead of braces, we use transparent, removable splints that are almost invisible and difficult to notice when wearing them.

The aligners are made individually for you with the help of modern, digital computer technology, which ensures the perfect fit and the absolute accuracy in the treatment plan. We can even digitally visualize the final result so that you can see in advance what your teeth will look like after the treatment.

Just like classic braces, the aligners apply gentle pressure to the teeth and move them to the position we have set. As the treatment progresses, we should change the splints about every 2 weeks and evaluate the progress of the treatment by checking in the doctor’s office. To take full advantage of the Invisalign method, we recommend wearing the splints for 20-22 hours a day. You can of course take them out to clean them but also when you brush your teeth or eat.

The duration of treatment can vary depending on the type and extent of the malocclusion we are experiencing. In general, however, the treatment lasts less time than with fixed appliances. Invisible splints do not cause irritation and you will not need time to adjust to their use. You will only feel a little pressure on the teeth at first, but that is exactly what you need: to push them to move. Other than that, you can continue your daily activities undisturbed and the aligners will straighten your teeth without being seen!
